Great imagination! I think there is some problem with the character in the picture. At least for my eye, but maybe this is your visualition... I think the pose tell us that the guy is standing on the ground... I would maybe prefer a more... "Floating" pose!? And the red thing around the head maybe should be more like a light... Similar to the blaze... But smaller...

But again, that is only the way my eye would like it... ItÂ´s maybe not what your head is wanting!

I remember this from the WIP. I'd say you did a fine job. It's not perfect, but I'm not sure what to crit. I especially love the lava.

Wow! very interesting effect in the sky around the figure, looks like he's absorbing the energy or something.
